British Vegan Burger

Hi there! hope you are all doing great 🙂

This time I want to share with you a British style vegan burger recipe using supermarket vegan ranges products. This is kind of a “lazy burger” for those days when you are just not in the mood to make an effort to prepare the ingredients for yourself. Let’s be honest, we all love fancy recipes but some days we like to keep it simple.

This is a great option for when you have unexpected visitors,  a chilling evening7night with your friends/significant other or like in my case for a vegan cheat meal lol.

Ingredients

  • Sainsbury’s 2 Ultimate Plant Burgers. These burgers are super juicy and delicious! I promise that you will love them a much a I do. To cook them just follow the box instructions

burger

  • Tesco (Free From Milk, Gluten & Wheat range) Cocunut oil Alternative to Red  Leicester Slices. What I love about this cheese is that it melts and it actually taste like cheese! I really can’t stress that enough.

You can appreciate in the photos how the cheese actually melts! I put them in the oven until it was melted along with the burger buns to toast them a little bit. I could have left them in the oven a little bit more though.

  • Tomato and Lettuce. Use as much as you want.
  • Burger Sauce of your choice.  For my burger sauce I mixed in a bowl a bit of ketchup, vegeneise from Follow your heart brand, a Costarican sause (Lizano), a bit of lemon juice and pepper.
  • Burger buns of your choice
  • Any other ingredient that you wish to add.

It is absolutely delicious as you can see in the photos plus it is very easy and quick to prepare. Give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments or in my social media platforms!
